Looking for an AirOps alternative? AirOps is a well-funded content platform with a free tier, but it lists no Pro price and 33 reviewers cite a steep learning curve. ThriveStackcitedby publishes a $35 monthly starting price, tracks AI engines, recommends fixes and ties citations to traffic and to CRM and billing revenue. This guide compares both on price, reviews, rivals and fit.
What is AirOps, and who is it built for?
AirOps is a content engineering platform that helps brands get found and cited in AI search. It tracks how AI engines mention a brand, then gives teams tools to fix pages and publish new ones.
The product has three layers. Insights tracks mention rate, citation rate, share of voice, sentiment and position across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and more (AirOps Insights). Page360 puts AI citations, Search Console data and GA4 traffic in one page-level view. Actions covers workflows, Brand Kits and Quill, an agent that monitors, creates and refreshes content (Business Wire).
AirOps has real backing. It raised a $40 million Series B led by Greylock on Nov 10, 2025, and grew from 20 employees to nearly 100 during 2025. Customers include Ramp, Chime, Wiz, Carta, Klaviyo, Webflow and Kayak. It announced SOC 2 Type II compliance in Feb 2023 (AirOps).
One pressure point to watch. Many larger companies now roll out Claude and ChatGPT based agents across their content teams. Those tools cover much of the content creation that AirOps sells, so they are one of its main competitors for writing and refresh work. That is our read of the market. AirOps points to Brand Kits, governance and 30+ integrations as the layer that sits on top of the model.
AirOps says it fits an enterprise content or SEO team that publishes 20 or more pieces a month and wants one system for monitoring, creation, governance and publishing (AirOps). If that is you, it deserves a hard look. If you mainly want to see and fix your AI visibility, read on.
For comparison, ThriveStackcitedby works in three steps: Analyze, Act and Attribute. It tracks up to 10 AI engines, writes content briefs and fixes, and ties citations to GSC and GA traffic and to CRM and billing revenue. It holds a 4.6 G2 rating, lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance and publishes a $35 starting price.
What does AirOps pricing look like in 2026?
AirOps lists four tiers: a free Insights tier, Solo, Pro and Enterprise (AirOps pricing). Solo is free to start, then pay as you go at $0.025 per extra task after your free credits. It includes 35,000 tasks a month and ChatGPT Insights only. Pro raises that to 100,000 tasks, adds unlimited seats and Insights across 7+ engines. Enterprise is custom and adds SSO, a dedicated account manager and MCP connectors.
The Pro price is the open question. The pricing page shows no number. AirOps's own May 2026 comparison post says Pro costs about $200 a month (AirOps). A third-party review from Aug 2026 calls every paid plan custom-priced and says "there is no number to put in a budget without a call" (Frase). Get a quote in writing before you plan a budget.
Usage is the other cost to watch. AirOps meters work in tasks, so a budget needs a task estimate. In G2 reviews, 11 people mention a high pricing model that needs usage monitoring, and 4 mention credit confusion.
For comparison, ThriveStackcitedby publishes one starting price: $35 a month, or $28 a month billed annually. That includes 3 AI engines, 25 prompts per run, one country and 5 content audit pages a month, with SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance. You can add engines (up to 10), prompts, countries and audit pages as you grow. See the full pricing page.

What do AirOps reviews say about the product?
AirOps reviews are strong. On G2 it holds 4.7 out of 5. People like how useful it is for AI visibility and scaling content, how easy the workflows are, streamlined content creation and the time it saves. Support earns praise too.
The complaints are about effort and cost: a steep learning curve, high pricing that needs usage monitoring, complex setup and UI, bugs and credit confusion.
“Within weeks of joining the beta, we tripled our AI search citations and built real momentum toward a more AI-driven growth strategy.

That quote comes with the Quill launch. AirOps also says Quill customers such as Parallel and Asana saw citation gains as high as 165%. These are company-reported results.
Now the ThriveStackcitedby side. It holds 4.6 out of 5 on G2. Reviewers point to the fastest way to get AI visibility, combined SEO and AEO recommendations, attribution, ChatGPT Ads monitoring, agentic actions, faster time to value, higher ROI and usage-based pricing. The complaints are few native integrations, prompts that have to be run manually and pricing that is unclear at scale.
“Within about ten minutes had a full breakdown of where we were and weren't getting cited, plus prioritized fixes.
Who are the main AirOps competitors in AI search?
AirOps competitors fall into a few groups: AEO trackers, SEO suites with AI features, and content platforms. AirOps itself publishes head-to-head pages against Profound, Peec, Semrush, AthenaHQ, Searchable, Surfer and Nightwatch (AirOps, AirOps vs Semrush). That list shows how crowded the space is.
Each group makes a different trade. Trackers such as Peec focus on affordable monitoring, and AirOps describes Peec as a fit for content teams under 5 people. SEO suites such as Semrush add AI visibility to a tool you may already pay for. Content platforms such as AirOps add creation and publishing on top of tracking.
ThriveStackcitedby sits across these groups. It tracks like a tracker, recommends fixes like a content platform and adds revenue proof from GSC, GA, CRM and billing. It lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance and holds a 4.6 G2 rating.
We compare several of these in separate pages: Peec AI, Semrush AI, Scrunch AI, AthenaHQ, Otterly AI and Profound. For the full field of 50+ vendors, see the AI visibility tools landscape.
